What level am I?
If you are an absolute beginner in the dance or wish to get a good
grounding of the basic techniques, you should go to Level I.
For non-partner dances, if you have some knowledge and experience
of the dance and want to develop your style and repertoire, Level
II should be right for you.
For Salsa and Tango, experience at a completed level I course is
the minimum required to take a Level II class.
For Lindy Hop, experience at a completed level II course is the
minimum required to take a Level III class.
If you did your dance course elsewhere, please expect to be questioned
about your experience, or you may be asked to audition for that
level. We try our best to ensure a happy dance and learning experience
for all who come to take class.
If in doubt of which level you should be in, please approach the
teacher for a fair and truthful assessment. Being in the correct
level to your ability not only benefits you as a dancer, but also
helps the rest of the class progress.
Can I take private lessons?
