JITTERBUGS SWINGAPORE @ THE CATHAY!
We are pleased to announce that we have signed the lease for brand new premises at #B1-08, The Cathay, 2 Handy Road.

Conveniently located at the end of Orchard Road, next to Dhoby Ghaut MRT, we will have 8,500 sq feet which we plan to divide into 6 dance spaces – 3 large studios (the size of our current Studio 2), a dedicated Pole & Exotic dance studio, a medium studio (the size of Studio 3) and a small studio for private classes.

With all our extra space, we hope to offer you even more classes so if you have any requests or suggestions, do let us know at dance@swingapore.com.

We are currently planning the refitting and renovations, and we hope to move at the end of July.  We thank you for all your support so far and we look forward to growing and dancing with you in our great new location!

Not just an excuse to dress up, the Fantabulous Swing Party will be a night to remember!  We are so pleased to host the CBC Fremantle Jazz Orchestra, one of Perth’s most exciting school bands.

With an average age of fifteen, the orchestra has been invited to perform for many and varied events, including the Perth Jazz Society, Rotary events and Jazz Fremantle. It was the first school band to ever perform at the York Jazz Festival and has done so every year for the last twenty years! The band has successfully toured Singapore, Adelaide and Tasmania. Most recently CBC is known for taking first prize in the ensemble category at the WA Schools Jazz Festival.

These Jazz-loving youngsters will get you moving on the dance floor. So come join us for a fantabulous night of Dinner, Dancin' and Dressin' Up!

DANCE! CROWN OF HONOR '09
Street Dance Competition
The first ever Singapore-Malaysia street dance competition, jointly organised by Genting, City of Entertainment and Oh My Gosh! is coming your way! Grand Finals will be held on 5 Dec 2009 at Genting Highlands Resort, where the Champion Team will walk away with attractive cash prizes, a challenge trophy, and crowned with honor!

THE CIRCUS COMES TO TOWN!
Roll up, roll up! Our annual kids’ concert will be a riot of colour and cuteness!  This year’s show is “The Wonderous Intergalactic Circus” and you will be entertained by all our kids’ classes including Tap dancing ponies to Hip Hop Clowns.
